Clearwater Wellness Co. approached us to create a wellness app from scratch for managing cold plunge routines — inspired by platforms like Strava and Whoop.
Key features included bath mode control, session alarms, and the ability to share results and group sessions with the community.
Key challenges included designing a reliable interface for physical bath control and making the intense cold therapy experience digitally engaging and accessible.
We also focused on building robust social sharing features to foster a vibrant user community around personal wellness achievements.
The Clearwater Wellness Co. app offers intuitive bath control, precise session tracking, and community-driven sharing — making cold therapy more engaging and accessible.
As a product built from scratch, we also delivered a clickable prototype, a marketing showreel for investors, and a detailed developer handoff to speed up implementation.

Discovery
How we started: Our Discovery phase began with deep research into the cold water therapy space and its user community. We explored wellness tracking apps to understand engagement patterns and data visualization best practices.
A brief competitor analysis — including Plunge, Coldture, and other cold therapy apps — revealed gaps in usability and helped shape a more intuitive, connected experience for the Clearwater Wellness Co. platform.
User flow
We mapped out clear user flows for key actions — from connecting the Snowcap unit to controlling bath modes, setting alarms, tracking sessions, and sharing achievements.
These defined paths laid the foundation for a smooth, intuitive experience that minimizes friction and maximizes usability.
